Funded by the Australian Government under the Australian Partnership with African Communities (APAC), the program included five country sub-programs.

In Uganda, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Zambia the sub-programs were implemented through Plan and partners.

The Mozambique program was implemented by Burnet with partners from 2004-2010.

  • Reduce discrimination, stigma and denial of the rights of people affected by HIV and AIDS.
  • Strengthen capacity of government, NGOs, CBOs and communities to increase the quality and scale of services responding to the needs of people affected by HIV/AIDS.
