Mark Deasey

Business Manager, TB Elimination and Implementation Science


Mark has worked in international development and humanitarian relief since the early 1980s, spending several years each in Lebanon, Cambodia and Indonesia, as well as long-term management positions with Oxfam Australia and Australian Volunteers International.

He has worked as a consultant on program design and evaluation in several countries, and has deployed as Shelter Cluster Coordinator to Ethiopia and Mozambique. Inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in development and humanitarian response has been a recent focus.
