Ana Orozco

Research Assistant

Background

Ana completed a double degree in Arts and Science with a major in Mathematics and Psychology early in 2021. Her main interests are research on young people’s mental health. This led her to complete her Honour’s degree with the Burnet Institute on young people’s anxiety and depression symptoms during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic using data from the Coping with COVID study.

During her Honours degree, Ana found her interest in data analysis and statistics. She is currently working as a research assistant involved in a variety of projects that will provide her with the experience she is looking for to further explore her interest in data handling and analysis.
