Background

Ruth has a technical trade certificate in science technology (general lab procedures and instrumentation). Her previous employment was with the National Agricultural Research Institute in Lae, with the Biotechnology unit.

She left in early 2015 and is now with Burnet Institute in Kokopo with the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies programme.
