Phoebe Nguyen

Research Assistant
Background

Phoebe holds a Master degree in Public Health / International Public Health with a specialisation in Epidemiology. During her Masters, she has completed research projects related to epidemiology of infectious diseases in both high-income and low-income settings.

At the Burnet Institute, her research work will focus on extending maternal care beyond formal health services. Her current project will explore self-care interventions to improve maternal outcomes among pregnant women, under supervision of Dr Joshua Vogel.

Phoebe is also involved in studies of transparency and reproducibility in systematic reviews, and aims to integrate best practices in research methodology into her clinical research.
