Background
Leonore Ryan has extensive experience in taking technologies to market, from both the research organisation and startup perspective. This includes first-hand experience in taking a technology from a research project through to the formation of a company, (Cardihab Pty Ltd), and a successful early-stage capital raising.
Leonore understands technology commercialisation from the perspectives of different key stakeholders across the startup ecosystem, including research organisations, investors, accelerators and start ups. She has provided coaching and mentoring across a range of leadership and entrepreneurship programs including STEM, researchers, LGBTIQ, women, students, migrants and asylum seekers; and has considerable governance experience across research organisations, tech startups and family companies.
Leonore is a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and of the Williamson Community Leadership Program. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Australian Graduate School of Management, a member of the Australasian Institute for Learning Professionals, and is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional.
