Ellie has a background in general practice, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, and remote medicine. She spent the last 6 years in the Northern Territory, working in public health, internal medicine, and general practice across both the government and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sectors. Ellie joined Burnet in 2025 to continue public health training alongside clinical work as a general practitioner in youth justice.
