Background

Chloe is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Clinical Microbiologist who joined the Burnet Institute in 2024 as a Technical Advisor in the Health Emergencies Working Group.

She also works in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology in Australian hospitals and is involved in research on AMR through The Wollongong Antimicrobial Resistance Research Alliance (WARRA).

Chloe has an interest in AMR, diagnostic stewardship, group A Streptococcal infections, microbial genomics, and development of microbiological services in low- and middle-income countries.
