Background

Aki supports internal communications and website projects at Burnet Institute. This includes plain language copywriting and helping researchers write about their work in an accessible, inclusive and compelling way.

Before joining Burnet, Aki studied and worked on Quinnipiac lands in what is now called the United States. She has worked on educational programs in an art museum, a prison and online.
