Document summary

We used the talanoa research method for this project. This is a community-based method where people share their stories, thoughts and feelings through a casual conversation.

We created a pilot program addressing the needs discussed during the talanoa sessions. We created this program with the idea to be run and tested with Pasifika young people.

We worked with a community project officer. They helped plan and run the project and engage with the community.

We had one co-design session with 7 young people recruited from the Wayfinders Leadership Group organised by Centre for Multicultural Youth. We included in this report the final suggested program with detailed activities.

We completed this project with our partners Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) and Monash ActionLab (MAL). More information is available on the CMY website.
