Burnet Institute was proud to host the Australian Malaria Vaccine Network Symposium recently. The meeting was attended by Burnet researchers and external collaborators and was chaired by Professor James Beeson and Associate Professor Michelle Boyle.
The symposium brought together more than 80 experts to discuss vaccine strategies and enhance collaborations between organisations.
Speakers shared approaches and ideas aimed at achieving next-gen vaccines with high efficacy and longevity.
The workshop explored cutting-edge research and the innovative tools that are being used by researchers across Australia to address this health challenge.
Professor Beeson said the event showcased the power and strength of collaboration and how we could work together to combat health issues across the globe.
“The networking and knowledge-sharing was a powerful reminder of the strength of collaboration in the scientific community,” he said.
