For eminent service to children and youth, to health, the arts, business, the community, and women's leadership. Ms McCarthy is a former Chair of Pacific Friends, and former Chancellor of the University of Canberra.
Professor Jennifer Anne Westacott AC
For eminent service to business, tertiary education administration, the mental health sector, and the community. Professor Westacott is the Chancellor Western Sydney University and a former Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia from 2011 to 2023.
Professor Jodie McVernon AO
For distinguished service to medical research, in the field of epidemiology and infection prevention, tertiary education, and public health. Professor McVernon is the Director of Epidemiology at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity.
Georgie Harman AO
For distinguished service to the mental health sector, to the LBGTQIA+ community, and to not-for-profit organisations. Ms Harman is CEO of Beyond Blue, which advocates for better mental health policies, and provides information, support, counselling and resources for individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns.
Distinguished Professor Vasso Apostolopoulos AM
For significant service to medical research, particularly immunology. Professor Apostolopoulos leads the Immunology and Translational Research Group at Victoria University and is Head of the Healthy Lifespan and Chronic Diseases Program at RMIT University. She is a former Head of the Immunology and Vaccine Unit at the Austin Research Institute, and the Immunology and Vaccine Group at Burnet Institute.
