The NHMRC-funded project is establishing a linked surveillance system that will monitor the progress of gay men through the HIV testing and treatment cascade in Victoria and NSW.
Utilising the capacity of the ACCESS surveillance system, this collaboration with the Kirby Institute will anonymously monitor individuals’ HIV diagnostic tests and linkages to care for men testing positive.
This internationally novel project will establish a sustainable electronic data system to measure changes in the HIV cascade over time and monitor the impact of these changes on HIV epidemiology.
