Access Point of Care builds on Burnet Institute’s expertise in the development, field-testing and implementation of point-of-care (POC) tests.
With capabilities across the scope of the value chain, Access Point of Care can overcome the key barriers to implementation of novel POC technologies, with the aim to reduce the burden of diseases in the most hard-to-reach populations.
Access Point of Care’s mission is to increase access to lifesaving treatments for infectious diseases in hard-to-reach populations in resource-poor countries, by demonstrating the accuracy and feasibility of existing and novel point-of-care tests and enabling their implementation.
