Ellen obtained her BSc in Molecular Life Sciences in 2021 from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. In her bachelors she discovered her interest for medical microbiology and infectious diseases. She started her MSc in Microbiology in 2021. She did her first internship at the Department of Experimental Virology at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences in Nijmegen and is excited for the opportunity to follow her second internship as part of the Malaria Virulence and Drug Discovery group here at the Burnet.
