Background
Kape is a Health Extension Officer (HEO) who recently joined Burnet Institute in July, 2022 as TB Fellow Officer in Daru, Western Province – Papua New Guinea. He is currently working as TB Clinical HEO in Daru General Hospital and also as DR TB case manager.
Kape is an enthusiastic, reliable, responsible and hardworking young person who is keen and very willing to learn and develop new skills and can adapt to challenging situations. He is also very passionate about reducing the very high number of DS and DR TB in Daru and Papua New Guinea as a whole. He has a dream of seeing PNG TB free in the future.
