Yi Fan

Project Officer


Yi has worked in development organisations across East Africa and Asia-Pacific for the last six years. She has a background in international development with a focus on gender rights. She spent two years in Tanzania with an international community development organisation prioritising health, women’s empowerment, environment and sustainability.

Prior to working with Burnet, Yi worked with the International Women’s Development Agency supporting women’s rights in Asia and the Pacific.

Yi joined the Burnet Institute in January 2021 as a Project Officer in the Tuberculosis Elimination and Implementation Science Working Group within the International Development discipline. She is currently supporting several projects in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.
