Daniel Marshall

Honours Student

Dan completed his Bachelor of Science at Monash University in 2018, and this year he is undertaking his honours year with the Beeson working group at Burnet Institute.

His project combines his passions of both infectious disease and immunology, as it focuses on identifying epitopes of functional antibodies against the malaria antigen: circumsporozoite protein.

This project aims to further the understanding of malaria-based immunity by utilising novel approaches in both cell biology and immunology, in order to aid in informing the design of an efficacious vaccine against malaria.
