Doctor Mark Minnery

Research Officer


Mark completed his undergraduate degree in Science in 2007 and obtained a Masters of International Public Health in 2009. Following completion of his Masters he has worked in health and development with a focus on health systems and health economics.

This has included in country work on TB and HIV in Latin America with Partners in Health, and domestically exploring optimal allocation of health resources for MNCH in the Asia-Pacific with projects funded by DFAT, the WHO, and BMGF. He has also worked with Queensland Health performing epidemiological and economic modelling within Australia.

Mark has recently completed his PhD work with the University of Queensland exploring quasi-experimental and multilevel methods for impact evaluation of integrated HIV programs and services, within the health system. He joins the Optima consortium for decision science working on applications of HIV and TB.
