Doctor Maria del Mar Quiroga

Research Officer, Infectious Disease Modelling


Mar joined the Burnet in 2018 to work on HIV and TB application studies within the Optima Consortium for Decision Science. She has a PhD in computational neuroscience from Rutgers University in the US and a BA/Master’s in mathematics from National University of Cordoba in her country of origin - Argentina. Most recently, Mar has been working at Monash University at the ARC Centre for Excellence for Integrative Brain Function.
