Melbourne turns red for World AIDS Day

UNAIDS Executive Director, Michel Sidibé celebrated World AIDS Day in Melbourne.

Melbourne showed a glimpse of what is to come for AIDS 2014 Conference next year when more than 15,000 delegates arrive from all over the world.

The volunteer spirit was alive and well!

Hundreds turned out in Federation Square to paint the town red!

UNAIDS Executive Director, Michel Sidibé was at the community launch of the AIDS 2014 Conference.

The Government House ballroom was a fitting backdrop for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s historic visit to Melbourne as part of the launch of AIDS 2014 and World AIDS Day celebrations. The official celebrations as AIDS 2014 is launched!
