‘HIV, Ageing and Co-morbidities’ is the theme for the mHIVE World AIDS Day Symposium. Burnet Institute Group Head, Retroviral Biology and Antivirals, Professor Gilda Tachedjian, will deliver the welcoming address ahead of the Keynote Presentation from Associate Professor Peter Hunt from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine.
The WAD symposium will bring together and celebrate the key roles of HIV-affected community members, clinicians and researchers and recognise how their partnership will ultimately work towards treating and preventing age-related diseases in people living with HIV.
You can click here to register for the symposium, or visit the mHIVE website to find out more about this collaborative HIV research initiative.
